Sydney Raife

Sydney Raife currently serves as Senior Counsel at Vox Media since May 2023. Prior to this role, Sydney was the Director of Legal and Deputy General Counsel at Teachers Pay Teachers from February 2015 to March 2023, overseeing product counsel and advising on privacy, security, intellectual property, and compliance matters. Sydney's earlier experience includes positions as Senior Counsel, Associate Counsel, and Marketplace Integrity Specialist, as well as a Student Attorney at the UW Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic, where free legal services were provided to local entrepreneurs. Sydney also interned at HUD, the Wisconsin Court System, and ABC for Health, Inc., developing a diverse legal background. Sydney holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with a study at the University of Cape Town.
