Ronan Nevin is an experienced O&M Manager at VPI, having transitioned from a Senior Engineer role at Fingleton White, where key responsibilities included negotiating electricity contracts, conducting feasibility studies, and leading CHP CI projects. Prior experience includes serving as Plant Manager and Generation/Project Engineer at Contact Energy Ltd, where Ronan significantly improved the reliability and efficiency of the Wairakei Steamfield plant and contributed to the development of the Te Mihi Power Station. Early career positions included Mechanical Engineer at Steam and Energy Solutions and Mechanical Project Engineer at GAMA, focusing on enhancing thermal processes and supporting the construction of a 400MW power plant. Ronan holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Energy from University College Cork and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Limerick.
