Peter Kalocsai

Peter Kalocsai is a seasoned professional in the fields of computer vision and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Principal Computer Vision Scientist at VSBLTY since October 2022. With substantial experience as a Computer Vision Engineer at MAF Industries and as the Founder and CEO of KaloVision, Kalocsai has developed advanced deep learning models for various detection tasks and efficient multimodal biometric devices. Previous roles include Senior Research Scientist at Pelco, where groundbreaking biometric systems were created, and Postdoctoral Researcher at UCLA, focusing on human face recognition. Kalocsai holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology and a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Corvinus University of Budapest.
