Alessandro Zago

Alessandro Zago is a seasoned venture capital professional currently serving as a Venture Partner at VU Venture Partners and Head of the Fintech Acceleration Program at INNOVIT, while also mentoring startups at Swissnex in San Francisco and advising global portfolio companies at Loyal VC. As Co-Founder and CEO of Torr Water Technology, Alessandro leads a climate tech startup focused on ocean desalination, and previously co-founded Stealth.AI, which develops data platforms for autonomous vehicles. Other notable roles include Vice President of Corporate Development at Chemonics International and Senior Director of Venture Investments at Hyundai Motor Company. Alessandro holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and an Executive MBA from INSEAD, alongside various executive education certifications in M&A and venture capital.
