Jim Chaousis has held various positions in different companies and organizations. Currently, Jim serves as the General Parts and Service Manager at W.D. Matthews Machinery, where Jim oversees the operations of the Parts and Service Department. Previously, Jim worked as the City Manager for the City of Rockland and held positions such as Executive Committee Member at Maine Municipal Association, Treasurer at Midcoast Economic Development District, President at Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce, and Town Manager for both Boothbay and Livermore Falls. With a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Maine and a degree in State and Local Government for Executives from Harvard Kennedy School, Jim has a strong background in municipal management and financial administration.

The company grew by leaps and bounds and in 1955, began supplying forklifts and other industrial equipment to New England Customers. Since then, we have become one of the area’s dominant players in the Industrial Equipment Marketplace and have built a customer list, one by one, that spans every major sector of the New England Economy. The company currently employs 150 people in 5 states and our sales revenues exceed $30 Million each year.
