Haiyang Zhu

Haiyang Zhu is a highly experienced Sr. R&D Scientist at W. R. Grace since January 2024, previously holding various positions at BASF from February 2013 to January 2024, including Sr. Chemist, Staff Chemist, and Research Chemist. Prior to this, Haiyang served as a Postdoc Research Associate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from June 2010 to October 2012, focusing on the characterization and mechanism studies of catalysts for NOx removal. Haiyang also gained valuable experience as a Postdoc Research Associate at Iowa State University from November 2006 to December 2009, where research involved the synthesis of novel nanoparticles and methodologies for studying gas-liquid interactions. Haiyang Zhu earned a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry with a specialization in Heterogeneous Catalysis from Nanjing University between 2001 and 2006.
