Rajesh Sharma

Rajesh Sharma is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in private equity, venture capital, and business growth strategies. Currently serving as the Chief Growth Officer and Head of Waaree Ventures at Waaree Group since December 2022, Rajesh focuses on the company’s inorganic growth and investments in global energy transition opportunities. Prior to this role, Rajesh founded GrowMyCo Ventures in January 2021, aimed at helping traditional businesses establish modern growth ventures. With a solid background at Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group), Rajesh played a pivotal role in developing private equity and venture capital initiatives, including the innovative Brand Capital model. Early career highlights include significant contributions to CRISIL Ltd. and pioneering internet and content businesses in India. Rajesh holds multiple degrees, including an MA in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, and completed executive education programs at the Indian School of Business.
