Brian Shepard

Brian Shepard is an accomplished supply chain and procurement executive with extensive experience in global sourcing and procurement leadership. Currently serving as Chief Procurement Officer at Wabtec Corporation since January 2020, Brian oversees a global sourcing function with approximately 250 team members and a spend exceeding $4 billion across more than 150 manufacturing sites. Prior to Wabtec, Brian held the position of Vice President of Global Sourcing at Kennametal, managing a team of over 100 in 16 countries with a spend of $1.5 billion. Brian's early career included various procurement roles at Eaton Corporation, where responsibilities ranged from leading procurement integration for a significant acquisition to directing the Americas procurement and supplier quality functions. Brian’s educational background includes an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from the University of Minnesota and a BA in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.
