Jonathan Zanger

Jonathan Zanger serves as the Managing Director and Head of Tax and Legal at Wafra since August 2017, overseeing the tax and legal department and managing all firm legal matters, tax planning, and compliance. Prior to this role, Zanger held positions including Managing Director of tax functions at a New York-based asset manager, Tax Director at Ladder Capital Corp, and Vice President of Tax at Brookfield Asset Management, where responsibilities encompassed global tax compliance, reporting, planning, and efficient structuring of private funds. Zanger began a legal career as an Attorney at Fried Frank after completing education at Fordham University School of Law and Yeshiva University.
