Jack Oleson has a diverse work experience in various companies. Jack started their career as an Information Services Intern at UPMC in 2005 and worked on implementing ITIL practices and system documentation. In 2008, they joined CGI Federal as an Analyst. In 2010, they moved to IBM Global Business Services where they worked as a Consultant, focusing on projects for the Department of Homeland Security and the Fire Department of New York. In 2012, they became a Senior Consultant at IBM and also took on roles in undergraduate recruitment and new hire orientation. In 2015, Jack joined WalletHub as a Product Manager, where they helped design and launch a credit monitoring application and is currently focused on scalability and user experience. In 2019, they were promoted to Director of Engineering at WalletHub.

Jack Oleson earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Business along with a specialization in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University. Jack attended the university from 2004 to 2008. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, completing the program between 2013 and 2015.
