Julie A. Jackson

Julie A. Jackson is an experienced communications professional with a focus on advancement and nonprofit management. Currently serving as the Director of Advancement Communications at Washington and Lee University since July 2022, Julie partners with Advancement colleagues to enhance alumni engagement and philanthropic support through strategic communications. Previously, at the University of South Alabama, Julie held the position of Director of Marketing & Communications for Development and Alumni Relations, where a comprehensive communications plan was created to align with institutional goals. Julie's extensive background also includes roles at ArtsBuild, Jackson Communications, and various arts and health organizations, complemented by a Master's degree in Nonprofit Management from Regis University and a B.A. in Communications from The University of Alabama.
