Marc Schwarz

Marc Schwarz is a Principal at Waterland Private Equity GmbH, where responsibilities include supporting entrepreneurs and management teams in growth initiatives and M&A within a pan-European context, managing €8.5 billion for growth equity investments since January 2017. In addition to this role, Marc serves as an Investor for both Hyand Group, a software provider for digitalization, and Skaylink, a cloud and digital transformation leader, advising Waterland funds on both investments. Prior experience includes consulting for Bain & Company within the Private Equity Group, a position as Visiting Associate at HgCapital, and various internships at Rocket Internet GmbH, Deutsche Bank, and Zurich Financial Services. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Finance from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and further studies in finance at Harvard University and Munich Business School.
