Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group
Evan Janakievski serves as a Mechanical Project Manager and Mechanical Design Team Member for the Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group since September 2023. Prior experience includes a Mechanical Engineer Co-op position at Cleveland Range from May to August 2024, and a Youth Soccer Referee for the U.S. Soccer Federation from October 2017 to December 2023. Involvement with BELLARMUN from July 2020 to June 2023 included serving as the USG of Technology, where responsibilities encompassed maintaining a conference website using PHP and CSS, revamping the codebase to React, and supporting media content gathering. Contributions to Bellarmine Prep FIRST Team 360 as a Mechanical and Electrical Subteam Member took place from September 2019 to June 2023. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics at the University of Waterloo, with a high school diploma obtained from Bellarmine Preparatory School in 2023.

Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group
The University of Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group (WARG) is a student design team at the University of Waterloo competing in the Unmanned Systems Canada Student UAS Competition. We are a passionate group of students focused on innovating the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle industry. We take pride in building everything ourselves, from the autopilot and computer vision software, to the custom designed ZeroPilot board that we use on our aircraft.
