Toms Skopins is an accomplished finance professional with significant experience in financial management and advisory roles. Currently serving as Group Finance Manager at Watu Credit since July 2022, Toms previously held the position of Business Controller for Uganda at Eleving Group from 2021 to 2022. Prior experience includes various roles at KPMG from 2018 to 2021, culminating as a Secondment M&A Senior Associate, as well as positions at EY as a Consultant in Transaction Advisory Services and as a Summer Intern in FSO Assurance. An earlier role as a Trainee in Group Operations at UBS provided foundational experience. Toms holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick's Warwick Business School, alongside an exchange term at McGill University and general secondary education from Riga State Gymnasium No. 1.
