Shannon Izquierdo

Shannon Izquierdo currently serves as School Principal at Wauwatosa School District, a position held since July 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Principal at Elkhorn Area School District from July 2021 to June 2023 and as a 5th Grade Teacher at Whitefish Bay School District from August 2017 to July 2021, where curriculum development and student engagement were key focuses. Additional experience includes teaching at Wauwatosa Catholic School, coordination roles at the Muscular Dystrophy Association and World Gastroenterology Organisation, volunteer service with the Peace Corps, and educational roles with Ukrainian Catholic University and YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids. Shannon Izquierdo holds multiple degrees from Marquette University and Aquinas College, including a Doctor of Arts in Educational Policy and Leadership, with a strong commitment to education and community service.
