Chris Cheng

Chris Cheng is a highly experienced mechanical engineer specializing in product design and integration in the automotive and medical sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Sensor Hardware & Integration Lead at Waymo since April 2018, Chris oversees a team focused on the development of complex sensing systems for vehicles. Previous experience includes significant roles at Apple, where contributions included the iPhone 7 and XS series, and various positions in the medical devices industry, including R&D Engineer at Stryker and Project Engineer at Kalila Medical.
