Olivia Chan is an experienced Technical Program Manager specializing in systems engineering, with a focus on autonomous driving technology. Currently at Waymo since September 2019, Olivia leads multidisciplinary projects, managing schedules and risks while optimizing testing and analysis practices for hardware and software systems. Previously, Olivia held managerial roles at NIO, overseeing the development of next-generation autonomous driving hardware and successfully delivering industry-leading products. Prior roles include engineering positions at Karma Automotive LLC and General Motors, where Olivia contributed to chassis electronic systems and active safety features. Olivia holds a Master’s degree in Global Automotive and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering from Monash University.
