Nerissa Viola is an academic and researcher with extensive experience in the field of chemistry and molecular therapeutics. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Wayne State University since December 2014, Nerissa has also held positions as an Assistant Professor. At Karmanos Cancer Institute, Nerissa has contributed as Co-leader of the Molecular Therapeutics Program and has held roles including Program Leader and Co-leader of the Molecular Imaging Program from April 2019 to April 2025.
