Steve Hoipkemeier has a diverse work experience. Steve started their career in 1974 in the US Navy, where they held various roles such as Commander. In the navy, they were involved in surface warfare and electronic warfare, and also played a key role in developing the first Opposition Information Warfare training force. In 1994, they joined Integrated Systems Control (ISC) as a Program Manager, and later in 1995, they became the Vice President at Whitney, Bradley & Brown, Inc. (WBB).
Steve Hoipkemeier completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at The University of Texas at Austin from 1969 to 1974. Steve further pursued their education by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Electronic Systems Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, where they studied from 1978 to 1980.
