Brandon Pope is a seasoned media professional with a diverse background in journalism, education, and marketing. Currently serving as a Podcast Host for Chicago Public Media since August 2022, Brandon explores the origin stories of iconic Black figures. Alongside this role, Brandon has been an Adjunct Professor at Columbia College Chicago, teaching an “On-Camera Talent” course. As President of NABJ-Chicago, responsibility includes managing operations for a nonprofit dedicated to supporting future journalists. Additional contributions as a Contributing Writer for EBONY Media and a Reporter and Anchor at WCIU-TV underscore Brandon's extensive media experience. Previous roles include Morning Reporter and Weekend Morning Anchor at ABC 57 - WBND, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Noria LLC, and various positions during studies at Ball State University, where Brandon earned a BA in Telecommunications.
