Kyle Pounder has a diverse range of work experience. Kyle began their career as a Mathematics Teacher at St. Patrick Catholic High School from August 2010 to May 2012. Kyle then joined the University of Arizona, where they held multiple roles, including Graduate Researcher and Graduate Teaching Associate, from August 2012 to June 2018. During their time at the University of Arizona, they conducted research in mathematics, specifically on the finite Toda lattice and Jacobi matrices.

In 2018, Kyle joined LexisNexis Risk Solutions as a Fraud Decision Scientist before being promoted to Senior Fraud Decision Scientist in 2019. Kyle worked there until January 2021, developing expertise in fraud detection and decision science. Kyle then transitioned to Facebook as a Data Scientist from January 2021 to June 2021, utilizing their analytical skills in the tech industry. Kyle is currently working as the Director of Analytics at Wealth, a role they assumed in June 2021.

Kyle Pounder attended the University of Arizona from 2012 to 2018, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mathematics. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Education degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of Notre Dame from 2010 to 2012. Their undergraduate education was completed at Saint Mary's College of California from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics.
