Jarmo Mäkelä has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jarmo began their career in 1999 as a Myyntiedustaja / ATK-tuki at Kiinteistö ja Rakennus Mäkelä Oy LKV [INS]. In 2002, they worked as a Logistics Coordinator at UPM Raflatac. From 2003 to 2006, they gained practical experience at YIT Rakennus Oy as a Haalariharjoittelija, Työnjohtoharjoittelija, and Project Engineer. In 2004, they returned to YIT Rakennus Oy as a Työnjohtoharjoittelija. Jarmo then joined YIT Rakennus Oy again in 2005 as a Työnjohtoharjoittelija. From 2006 to 2013, they worked at A-Insinöörit Rakennuttaminen Oy, initially as a Project Engineer and later as a Business Development Manager. In 2014 and 2015, they continued working at A-Insinöörit Rakennuttaminen Oy, this time as a Project Engineer. From 2016 to 2017, they held the role of Project Engineer. Most recently, they worked as a Project Manager at A-Insinöörit Rakennuttaminen Oy from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they are employed as a Project Manager at Welado Oy since October 2020.
Jarmo Mäkelä pursued their education in a chronological manner. Jarmo completed their high school education at Nokian Lukio from 1996 to 1999, where they received the Ylioppilas qualification in 1999. Following this, they pursued their higher education at Tampere University of Technology from 2000 to 2022. During this period, Jarmo Mäkelä obtained a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in the mentioned field of study.
