Thomas Corcoran

Thomas Corcoran is an experienced music educator and director currently serving as an Elementary Music Teacher for Wellesley Public Schools since August 2016, where responsibilities include instructing K-5 general music classes and directing the 5th grade choir. Corcoran also teaches private voice lessons through the Instrumental and Vocal Extension Program and has held the position of Music Director at Riverside Theatre Works since September 2018, overseeing various children's musical productions. Additionally, Corcoran is a volunteer singer with the Boston Symphony Orchestra's Tanglewood Festival Chorus and has previous teaching experience in multiple educational settings, including long-term substitute positions and guest teaching. Holding a Master of Arts in Music Teaching and Learning from the Eastman School of Music and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Boston University, Corcoran is well-equipped with advanced training in music education.
