Susan Raynes is head of the Institutional Client and Global Consultant Relations group at Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). Institutional Client Relations includes institutional distribution for North America; environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investing; and retirement strategy. The Global Consultant Relations team works with industry consultants who advise on a wide range of clients on investment issues.
Prior to joining WFAM, Susan led the global consultant relations team at State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) as well as the global portfolio content and analytics team. Prior to this role, she managed SSGA's United Kingdom, Middle East, and Africa businesses and served as chief operating officer for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) distribution business. Susan originally joined SSGA as a West Coast institutional relationship manager, where she led its institutional business in the 13 western states. Earlier roles included serving as director of marketing for Cambridge Associates and managing structured finance and loan syndication transactions for Bank of America and Bank of New England.
Susan earned a bachelor's degree in history from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master's degree in finance from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
