Feng Y.

Feng Y. is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in leadership and analytics across various sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Data Science for the Metrics Team at WeRide since May 2025, Feng Y. focuses on hiring talent in China and the US. Prior experience includes founding a stealth startup dedicated to AI-powered data science and analytics in 2024, and leading data science initiatives at Apple from November 2016 to March 2024, overseeing a wide range of applications. Feng Y. also held roles at Walmart Labs as a Senior Data Scientist, specializing in recommendation systems and personalization, and at Ancestry as a Marketing Analytics Scientist, where contributions included developing marketing attribution and media mix models. Feng Y. earned a PhD in Statistics from the University of Minnesota and a BS in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
