Stacie Honaker

Stacie Honaker is currently serving as the HIPAA Privacy Officer and Risk Manager at West Virginia University since January 2022. Prior to this role, Stacie worked as the Assistant Risk Manager at the WVU Health Sciences Center from January 2019 to January 2022. Stacie's legal career includes positions as an attorney at Shuman, McCuskey & Slicer, PLLC from January 2015 to January 2019, and at Flaherty, Sensabaugh & Bonasso, PLLC from September 2004 to January 2014. Stacie holds a Juris Doctor degree from West Virginia University College of Law, earned between 2001 and 2004, and a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from West Virginia University, obtained from 1994 to 1998. Stacie graduated from North Marion High School in 1994 with a high school diploma.
