Dave Kinner

Dave Kinner is a seasoned academic leader currently serving as the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Western Carolina University, a position held since 2006. Throughout a distinguished career at the university, roles have included Associate Professor, Interim Dean, Associate Dean, and Assistant Professor. Prior to this, Dave Kinner held a Mendenhall Post-Doctoral position at USGS Landslide Hazards from October 2003 to June 2006. Educational credentials include a PhD in Geology from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Arts in Geology/Earth Science from Amherst College.
