Souveek Halder

Souveek Halder is an experienced analytics and data science professional currently serving as the Senior Manager of Analytics and Intelligence for Financial Crime Surveillance at Westpac since May 2025. Prior to this role, Souveek held the position of Senior Data Science Manager at NAB, focusing on insights and predictive modeling for credit cards and unsecured lending. Experience includes leadership roles at Wagetap as Head of Data Science, and at Alinta Energy as Lead Data Scientist for Trading and Portfolio Management. Souveek's earlier career involved data science and analytical roles at the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, AlphaBeta Advisors, and the Commonwealth Ombudsman. Souveek's educational background includes a PhD in Mathematics and Statistics from The Australian National University and multiple degrees in Econometrics, Data Science, and Statistics.
