Nicole Lavan

Senior Director Of Research And Program Development at WHEDco

Nicole Lavan has a strong background in research, policy, and evaluation. Nicole most recently served as the Director of Research, Policy, and Evaluation at WHEDco since October 2012. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Research and Evaluation at Nontraditional Employment for Women from November 2011 to September 2012. Before that, they worked as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies from April 2009 to November 2011. Nicole began their career as a Researcher at The Mauricio Gaston Institute for Latino Community Development and Public Policy from September 2005 to December 2008.

Nicole Lavan completed their education with a PhD in Public Policy from UMass Boston, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Prior to this, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Urban Affairs at CUNY Queens College, attending from 2003 to 2004.
