David Wilson

David Wilson is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Finance Transformation at Wickes since February 2024. Prior to this role, David held the position of Director of Finance Transformation for IFRS17 & USGAAP at Pacific Life Re from August 2019 to December 2023. David's previous experience includes acting as Interim Financial Controller at Majestic Wine and managing Financial Planning & Analysis at Canada Life from April 2013 to November 2018, where responsibilities included overseeing management information and expense reporting for the UK Division. David also contributed significantly to the establishment of a Procurement and Third Party Risk function at Canada Life. Earlier career roles include Audit Senior/Manager at BKL and Audit Semi Senior at MacIntyre Hudson. David is an ACCA qualified professional and attended Queen Elizabeth's School in Barnet.
