Patrick Cermak

Since joining Wight in 2001 as President and Chief Operating Officer, Patrick has led the company’s daily operations, overseen its financial management, and ensured that clients remain at the heart of all they do.

He has played a key role in cultivating and nurturing client, partner, and governmental relationships on behalf of Wight. His attentiveness to client needs has led to multiple long-term partnerships with organizations in both the public and private sectors and has assisted Wight in expanding into new markets and broadening its service offerings.

A role model for civic engagement and champion for the next generation of A/E/C professionals, Patrick has established professional development and sustainability programs within Wight. He is involved in numerous civic and building organizations, including the City of Chicago’s Metropolitan Planning Council and the Chicago Chamber of Commerce, and serves as Executive Board Member of the Design Futures Council, a multidisciplinary organization dedicated to advancing innovation in the A/E/C industry.
