Max Chang

Max Chang has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Max began as the Owner of MaxxSpeed Skateboards in 2011, and then worked as a Mechanic at UC CYCLERY INC from 2017-2019. From 2019-2020, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Additive Rocket Corporation, where they designed manufacturing processes, workholding fixtures, and runtime optimization for high-quantity CNC production. Max also secured high-volume PO by demonstrating satisfactory quality and throughput. In 2020, they took on the role of Machine Shop Student Assistant at San Diego State University, where they operated machine equipment including CNC mills, CNC lathes, waterjet, and provided training and assistance to senior design students carrying out design projects. Finally, they are currently working as a Mechanical Engineer at Wildcat Discovery Technologies.

Max Chang attended San Diego State University from 2020 to 2022, where they earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to that, they attended UC San Diego from 2012 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics.
