Brian Dillavou

Brian Dillavou is a Partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati since June 2021, specializing in representing startups and emerging growth companies through incorporation, early-stage financings, and strategic exits. Previously, Brian held the role of Partner at Shearman & Sterling LLP and Andrews Kurth Kenyon, focusing on corporate legal issues, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets transactions. Brian began the legal career as an Associate at Baker Botts LLP, with foundational experience as a Summer Associate at both Baker Botts and Jones Day. Earlier internships included an Audit Intern position at Ernst & Young and an Internship with the Cotton Bowl. Brian holds a Doctor of Law (JD), a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Honors, and a Master in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.
