James Sykes

James Sykes, FRAeS, currently serves as Chief of Staff at Wisk since September 2022. Prior experience includes roles as an Aerospace Engineering Consultant at Windspeed Technologies, LLC and significant leadership positions at Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation, where responsibilities included Vice President and Head of Engineering. At BOMBARDIER, Sykes held various director-level positions overseeing aircraft configuration, integration, and customer support engineering, among others. Earlier experience includes a Mechanical Engineer role at GasTOPS Ltd. Sykes holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Toronto, a Master of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Carleton University, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Dalhousie University.
