D.K. Billins has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They began their career as a Game Journalism Intern at Launch Media Network, LLC in 2015, where they wrote original articles for the gaming news website GameSkinny.com. They then moved on to a Cartoon Network Digital Game QA Intern position at Turner Broadcasting System, Inc, where they tested software and reported bugs and improvements for various games.

In 2016, Billins worked as a Communications Fellow at the Association County Commissioners of Georgia, gaining experience in communications and public relations. They later joined Voltage Entertainment USA as an Associate Producer in 2021, overseeing production and assisting with the development of entertainment projects.

In 2022, Billins worked as a Contract Writer at Crazy Maple Studio, Inc., adapting published novels into game script formats for the app Chapters. This role involved writing outlines, chapters, character details, and other necessary assets.

Most recently, Billins joined Wizards of the Coast in 2023 as a Worldbuilding Game Designer, where they contribute to the development of games and design immersive and engaging experiences.
