Larry Stefonic has had a long and varied career in the tech industry. Larry began in 1993 as a co-founder of Cypress Software Inc., where they helped launch a Visual Basic for Applications VBA and VBScript compatible Basic Scripting Language. In 1994, they moved to Raima Corporation as Director of Sales. In 1998, they opened, managed, operated and grew the Raima Australia/New Zealand corporate subsidiary. From 1999 to 2001, they were the General Manager of the eBusiness Unit at Centura Software. From 2001 to 2008, they held various roles at MySQL, including President of MySQL KK, SVP Asia Pacific, and SVP Worldwide OEM Sales. In 2008, they became an Advisor at OrangeHRM, and in 2009, they became an Advisor at Marketcetera. Finally, in 2004, they co-founded wolfSSL, a programming library for building security into applications and devices, and wolfCrypt, an open source cryptography package.
Larry Stefonic attended Purdue University from 1986 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Engineering.

The wolfSSL embedded TLS library is a lightweight, portable, C-language-based SSL/TLS library targeted at IoT, embedded, and RTOS environments primarily because of its size, speed, and feature set. It works seamlessly in desktop, enterprise, and cloud environments as well. wolfSSL supports industry standards up to the current TLS 1.3 and DTLS 1.2, is up to 20 times smaller than OpenSSL, offers a simple API, an OpenSSL compatibility layer, OCSP and CRL support, is backed by the robust wolfCrypt cryptography library, and much more.
