Antanas Urbas

Antanas Urbas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research, development, and business management within the technology sector. Currently serving as Chief Scientist at Workshop of Photonics since January 2015, Urbas is responsible for strategizing research activities. Additional roles include Advisor to the Board and Management, contributing to the strategic development of affiliate partnerships, and securing external resources. As a Board Member of the Industrial Lab at the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology since June 2016, Urbas defines research and development tasks. Previous leadership positions include Chairman of the Board at the Lithuanian Space Association and Sales Director for the Baltics at 3D Center. Urbas has also worked as a Freelance Consultant specializing in technology transfer and IP management. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Physical Chemistry and a Master's degree in Physics, Urbas possesses a strong academic foundation that complements a diverse professional portfolio.
