Meghan Latcovich

Chief of Staff at World Food Programme

Meghan Latcovich currently serves as Chief of Staff at the World Food Programme since April 2023. Prior to this role, Meghan held the position of Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of State from August 2022 to April 2023, and has been Chief of Staff for Cindy McCain since December 2008. Meghan's extensive experience also includes serving as a Strategic Advisor and Director of Communications at The McCain Institute for International Leadership between 2012 and 2023, and as an aide to Mrs. McCain during the John McCain 2008 campaign. Additionally, Meghan has a military background, having served as a Lieutenant in the US Navy Senate Liaison Office and as a Helicopter Pilot in HSL-44. Meghan holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the United States Naval Academy, where education was completed from 1995 to 1999.
