Sara Carrer

Sara Carrer currently serves as Chief Political Officer at the World Food Programme, a position held since June 2021. Prior to this role, Sara was Executive Vice President for Europe & Africa at BCW Global from March 2018 to June 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Burson-Marsteller from January 2008 to February 2018, and as Manager of Public Affairs at EFMD from February 2006 to January 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in European Administrative and Political Studies from the College of Europe and a degree in International and Diplomatic Studies with a focus on international economics from Università degli Studi di Trieste.
