Kian Cassehgari Posada has a diverse background in international law and economics. Kian began their career in 2017 as a Legal Advisor to the Permanent Mission of Colombia to the United Nations. In this role, they provided legal advice and support to the Mission. Later that year, they joined the Permanent Mission of Colombia to the World Trade Organization as a Legal Advisor. In this position, they advised on trade-related legal matters. In 2018, they transitioned to the World Trade Organization, where they held the role of Economist and Lawyer. In this capacity, they utilized their expertise in economics and law to contribute to the organization. Throughout their career, Kian Cassehgari Posada has demonstrated a strong commitment to international law and economics.
Kian Cassehgari Posada holds a diverse educational background with a focus on economics, public policy, public law, policy evaluation, and international public and European law.
Kian completed a Master's degree in Economics at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne. This was followed by a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy from Concordia University. Kian then pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) in Public Law at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
Furthering their studies in policy evaluation, Kian obtained a Master's degree from Sciences Po. Finally, Kian earned a Master's degree in International Public and European Law from Université Paris-Saclay.
In addition to their formal education, Kian has also obtained certifications in Transformación Digital: Tecnologías y sus aplicaciones prácticas from MIT Professional Education and in Project Management from Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo.
