Mary Evans is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in grant management and program coordination. As the Senior Manager of Grant Capacity at World Vision since October 2020, Mary coordinates a globally distributed team to enhance grant management and compliance training through various learning modalities for World Vision staff and partners. Prior to this role, Mary spent nearly a decade with the U.S. Department of State, where responsibilities included managing the Fulbright program for Latin America, the Caribbean, and Canada. Additional experience encompasses roles at ABBTECH and as a Research Consultant, co-designing impactful research projects for organizations such as USAID and the International Fund for Agricultural Development. Mary also served as Associate Director for Global Classrooms at the United Nations Association, developing a Model UN curriculum in collaboration with local educators. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish from UC Irvine.
