Darrin McDonald is an experienced media professional with a diverse background in video production and promotion. Since 2000, Darrin has been a Promotions Producer, Special Events Producer, and Technical Director at WOSU Public Media, showcasing expertise in various roles. Darrin also directed the narrative film "Darrin Devils A Go Go," which debuted in 2010, and co-directed and co-wrote the feature-length documentary "Out of Place," highlighting the Cleveland surf culture. Earlier experience includes serving as a Video Technician at Sea World Cleveland and producing and directing multiple weekly programs at WAOH/WAX 29/35. Darrin's foundation in the field was established through a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television from Kent State University, complemented by valuable mentorship from Emmy-winning producer/directors during a student employment role at KSU Teleproductions.
