Eden Checkol

Eden Checkol serves as an Anchor/Reporter at WPLG since May 2021, bringing extensive experience from previous roles at WISN-TV and WISC-TV. Starting as a Multimedia Journalist at KBJR-TV in 2014, Eden's career includes internships at KSTP-TV, WCCO-TV, and NWCT Channel 12, where skills in news reporting and editing were developed. Prior work also involved research on identity among first-generation Ethiopian-American youth. Eden holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Journalism from the University of St. Thomas, completed in 2014.
