Yvette Jon

Yvette Jon is an experienced news producer with a robust background in broadcast journalism, currently serving as the 11 p.m. News Producer at WPLG since March 2017. Previously, Yvette held positions at CNN International as a writer, at WPLG as a 6 a.m. News Producer, and at NBC Miami as an associate producer. Early career experience includes a variety of roles such as a lead bartender and production runner, alongside substantial academic projects during time at the University of Miami where Yvette earned a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and Psychology. Freelance experience also includes serving as a Miami correspondent for France 24 where coverage included significant political events.
