Kye B. has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. In 1997, they worked as a Web Designer and Administrator for GUK, an online community focused on supernatural topics. From 2000 to 2003, they were a Web Designer and Administrator for Build Connect, a website handling classified listings and business networking for the building trade. In 2002, they worked as part of the Administration & Management team for XOOPS, an open-source project. From 2005 to 2007, they owned and managed B&V, a shopping outlet for alternate fashion wear and decorum. In 2005, they also became a Company Director for SJBowers - Hosting & Domain Name Registration, offering domain registration and hosting services. From 2007 to 2017, they were involved in the setup, marketing, and decision-making for ImpressCMS, while also providing support to end-users. Their work experience continued as the Head of Support for Incsub from 2011 until their role transitioned into Chief Operating Officer in 2017. Lastly, Kye B. served as the Chief Operating Officer for WPMU DEV starting in 2017.
From 1998 to 2000, Kye B. attended Doncaster College where they obtained a National Diploma in Computer Studies.
