Rashid Ahmed is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in capacity building and project management within the environmental and industrial sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Capacity Building & Trainings for Freshwater at WWF-Pakistan since March 2022, Rashid also holds the role of Project Coordinator for the HP-Cogen Project at Iqbal Hamid Trust, which focuses on promoting sustainable electricity production in the sugar sector. Previous positions include Deputy Compliance Manager at Muhammad Shafi Tanneries and Manager of Extension Services at NEC Consultants, along with experience as a Technical Officer at MIMA Leather and a Production Chemist at Unichem Corporation. Rashid Ahmed holds a Master’s degree in Applied Environmental Sciences from the University of the Punjab.
