Chelsea Johnson is an experienced music industry professional currently serving as the Programming & Booking Coordinator at WXPN since July 2023. Prior roles include General Manager and Director of Operations at Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia, Office Manager at Komorowski Carpentry, and Concert Manager at City Winery, where responsibilities ranged from show preparation and logistics to artist support and equipment coordination. Chelsea held several key positions at Live Nation Entertainment, including Operations Manager, where leadership of a 50-member team and management of event execution were critical. Additionally, experience at World Cafe Live encompassed roles from Production Coordinator to Box Office Supervisor, ensuring efficient operations and customer service. Chelsea holds a degree from Wilmington University, completed between 2014 and 2017.

What We Do: WXPN provides an unparalleled musical listening experience featuring contemporary music from many genres including rock, indie, folk, blues, R&B, and alt country. Our playlist is broad and comprised of international, national, and local artists ranging from brand new on the scene to legendary in stature. How We Do It: WXPN is a member-supported radio station and nationally-recognized leader in Triple A (Adult Album Alternative) music programming. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) operation serving the Delaware Valley and Central PA areas. While our broadcast license is held by the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, we are financially independent and rely solely on the support of individuals who believe in our mission. We focus exclusively on delivering the needs to the community of music fans and artists we serve. WXPN serves the greater Philadelphia area at 88.5 FM, the Lehigh Valley at 104.9, Worton/Baltimore at 90.5 FM, Lancaster/Lebanon at 88.7 FM, Harrisburg at 99.7 FM, and the world via online streaming at XPN.org.
