Jared Styles has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and merchandising. Jared started their career as a Merchandiser/Clerk at Tower Records in September 2001. In February 2002, they joined WXPN as a Broadcast Engineer and later became the Director of Engineering in August 2007. Within the same year, they also worked as a Contract Engineer at Radio One Philadelphia from October 2002 to January 2006.
Jared Styles began their education at Grand Valley State University in 1992, where they pursued a field of study that is unspecified. Jared then transferred to Michigan State University in 1993, but did not complete a degree or specify a field of study. Finally, from 1995 to 2001, Jared attended Wayne State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio and Television.

Our playlist is broad and comprised of international, national, and local artists ranging from brand new on the scene to legendary in stature. How We Do It: WXPN is a member-supported radio station and nationally-recognized leader in Triple A (Adult Album Alternative) music programming. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) operation serving the Delaware Valley and Central PA areas. While our broadcast license is held by the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, we are financially independent and rely solely on the support of individuals who believe in our mission. We focus exclusively on delivering the needs to the community of music fans and artists we serve. WXPN serves the greater Philadelphia area at 88.5 FM, the Lehigh Valley at 104.9, Worton/Baltimore at 90.5 FM, Lancaster/Lebanon at 88.7 FM, Harrisburg at 99.7 FM, and the world via online streaming at XPN.org. It's all about the music.
