Yang Wang

Yang Wang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy and corporate development. Currently serving in the Strategy & Corporate Development division at Xiaohongshu since April 2021, Yang previously held the position of Associate Director of Strategic Investment at Alibaba Group from August 2017 to April 2021, focusing on media, entertainment, and mobile internet sectors. Prior to that, experience as a Senior Associate in Investment Banking at CICC emphasized TMT investment banking, concentrating on technology, media, and the internet. Yang began a career in investment banking at Citi, first as an Analyst from June 2014 to August 2015 and as a Summer Analyst in June 2013. Academically, Yang earned both a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Tsinghua University, completing the Master's degree from 2012 to 2014 and the Bachelor's degree from 2008 to 2012.
