Kevin Marriott

Kevin Marriott is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical leadership, conservation, and training. Currently serving as the Senior Technical Lead for the XPRIZE Wildfire & Rainforest initiative since May 2022, Kevin has also contributed significantly to the Forgotten Parks Foundation as a Technical Advisor and Board Director, and as the Founder and Technical Director, focusing on protected area management and conservation in Sub-Saharan Africa. Previous roles include Technical Trainer at Liberty Alliance and Black Tree Group, where Kevin trained US Department of Defense clients on Commercial & Consumer off the Shelf products. Kevin's leadership experience extends to serving as the Director for Technical Assistance to Anti-Poaching & Conservation and co-founding Kinetic Six Ltd. Early in Kevin's career, military service in the British Army as a Special Forces Communicator and Systems Engineering Technician provided a solid technical foundation. An academic background includes a Master of Science in Wildlife Biology & Conservation from Edinburgh Napier University, along with several certifications in protected area management and environmental science.
